Doing the “Impossible” Eating Big, yet Staying Small Pt. 1

All my life, I’ve gotten  “OH GIRL…YOU MUST NOT EAT!!!”   “JORDAN HOW DO YOU STAY SO SMALL?!” etc etc. It’s assumed that since I’m small and have remained so for the majority of my life, I must be sick, anorexic or bulimic (I’m serious 😦 ). But the truth *deep breath* I love food. I love eating. I love cooking and truth be told, you can find me eating something from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed- But that something is usually healthy. It’s rare that you’ll see me snacking on chips, cake, soda, fried anything so forth && so on. I have a sweet tooth and in the summertime I have a weakness for Rita’s (Water Ice),  but it is always about self control && moderation

I just want to share my Friday’s dinner I made. It was more than enough especially after another serving or two, but I have my reasons for everything I do.  Saturday morning I went on a 4-mile run with Black Girls Run (of course), did a couple reps of hills then concluded with plyo jumps. I wanted a big nighttime meal.

It was good.

Sloppy Joe’s in a pita bread
Roasted Rosemary Potatoes
Steamed Broccoli

This is just part of my series that I will talk about how I manage to stay small && still stuff my face constantly. I’ll talk about what you can do and I’ll just give tips and encouragement because remember this is a lifestyle, not a fad or diet.

Whether you’re in school, out of school, working 40+ hours a week, getting older and have a slower metabolism–whatever your personal situation is, I really am interested in helping. Throw me your scenarios and let me help you!

Get There.
