Are we doing too much?

I’ve been doing some thinking and observing.

Some people who get involved in fitness- they go allll the way in. No chill at all.

Let’s discuss: I know people who workout about 4-6 days a week. That’s cool. I work out 5 days a week.

With that being said, some of these people don’t do one workout. They participate in several classes and  activities.

For instance: a early AM class. Run in the evening. Or a few classes per day. Or a long run, then a bike ride then yoga.

Basically what I’m saying is, I kinda think it’s crazy when I see and hear stories of these multiple workouts. First off I would like to know why do you do it? Is it even healthy to stress you body physically that much? I know your body is amazing and can handle a whole WHOLE bunch. And what about your time? How can you afford to dedicate so much time to fitness? Most importantly, why do you do so much?

If weight loss is the goal then honestly, this isn’t the right route. How you eat seriously makes a difference when it comes to your results. You may see results when you do these consistent workouts, but if you are still eating CRAP* (see below)  in between your workout  then it is totally counterproductive. And Folks do not forget, rest and recovery are THEEE most important aspects for muscles growth. You’re tearing down that muscle while working out so you need to rest for the muscle to grow and heal.

so I ask you, are we doing too much? And if you are somebody who does multiple workouts in a day-why? I need answers

Get There.
